Not many cats have as cute a face as Tigga. Despite this fact that she is only a year old, Tigga has an "old lady grump face". It makes her look wise beyond her years, but she's just a youngster.
Tigga was rescued from a hoarding situation when she was only 6 months old. During her time with us, she has been getting used to being a cat. She's learning how to play, learning how to being around kind people, and learning some independence. It has taken Tigga a while to figure out trust with people, but she's really making big strides. She's not quite comfortable being pet, but she's very curious about people. If you reach out to touch her, Tigga was slink just out of arm's reach, but she likes to sniff people and tough them with her paws. She is still young so has lots of time to blossom into a trusting kitty.
Tigga 's ideal home will be with a quiet, gentle, cat-savvy person who is willing to let her flourish at her own pace. Tigga enjoys snacks, playing, and being around her people. She also really enjoys the company of other cats. Therefore, Tigga is looking for a home with other cats that might like to be her friend. A younger one that might like to play would be wonderful. She is currently in the same foster home as several of our kittens and would be happy to be adopted along with one of them if you're interested in a pair.
Tigga is not comfortable with children and at this time we have no idea how she will be with dogs.
If you are interested in learning more about Tigga, please contact us. She will take a little while to warm up, but will be a great addition once she's comfortable.
