Jasper - Special Needs -
Jasper has been diagnosed with diabetes and has started treatment. Jasper is a senior boy with hardley any teeth left looking for a home for his final years. His other bloodwork results are ok and we are optimistic with proper diabetes management he still has plenty of life to live and love to give.
Jasper is full of personality! He has many different moods throughout the day and he communicates them all effectively with people. He has a very bossy side, he can be a silly show off and sometimes the sweetest little thing with his squinty eyes and melting for forehead kisses. He occasionally can be very mean but once you get to know him you can tell when he is in a mood and should be left alone.
Jasper would perfer a home without other cats but he is ok with other cats as long as they give him his space. He can be rude to them when he is grumpy but he has shared a space with another cat during his stay here.
He will need insulin injections twice a day, a special diet, blood glucose checks and regular vet care.
We are looking for an indoor only home.
