Please meet Miss Lola a stunning female dilute ginger. This sweet little gal had a rough start in life but has blossomed in her foster home. The vet estimates her age is approximately 16 months. Lola arrived a scared skinny wee Miss that had only known outdoor life, in a box. She was unable to go for a stroll or stretch out to enjoy afternoon rays of warm sunshine on her coat. After 6 months of great nutrition, a warm comfortable bed and as much love as she could handle, Miss Lola is ready to land her forever home. Lola presents as lithe and athletic; she has just recently learned that interactive play with a peer aged kitty can be a whole lotta fun! Lola will be adopted to an adult only home - sorry kids- really, it's NOT you! This is because an experienced quiet home with a kitty buddy or work from home human will be the best fit for Lola. This gal could possibly be too much action for an older or shy cat. She is very intelligent and loves to interact on her terms. Lola will tire the best of us out running around in play with you. A good game of chase with a wand toy is her idea of a good time and let's not forget tunnels to run through and hide in to stake out that pesky fly in the playroom! She really just needs a chance, Lola is truly a sweet independent curious gal who is very clean, has had her big op and first set of shots as well as flea and parasite control. She approaches Foster Mum for head boops and very light touch. She is an absolutely INDOOR ONLY kitty but has ventured out to quickly peek at the catio. If you think Lola might be just the kitty you're looking for please first review the adoption policy and process at cowichancatrescue.org then feel free to submit your application.
